Unfortunately, during the Covid-19 outbreak we have had to adapt our Counselling services due to Government advice regarding social distancing.
However, we are still here for you and will support you primarily via a telephone service during this time.
Patient Counselling service
Although family and friends can be a great comfort, you may be feeling or thinking things you just don’t feel you can say to them. Or you might need some additional support to help you come to terms with what you are facing. That’s why our Patient counselling service is so important. If you feel you might benefit from one to one counselling and support from our trained counsellors, please discuss it with your Clinical Nurse Specialist who will arrange it for you. This service is provided entirely free of charge.
Family Counselling service
Our Counselling Services offer families the opportunity to talk about their situation, the diagnosis and their emotions surrounding it. Often the sessions will take place individually but it is possible to meet with our Counsellors as a family, ensuring that everyone can share their feelings, be heard and understood and support each other through this very difficult time.
