Coronavirus – keeping you safe when attending City Hospice
We continue to be vigilant about infection control to protect the wellbeing of those using our services, as well as those working and volunteering for City Hospice.
We are carefully monitoring the changing situation and reviewing the guidelines issued by Public Health Wales. We are keeping our staff and volunteers up to date with the relevant information and would advise everyone to continue to visit: https://gov.wales/coronavirus
We request that all patients, service users, staff, volunteers, contractors, relatives and friends consider carefully if they could be a potential carrier of the Coronavirus and therefore be a risk to others before attending the Hospice.
If you are experiencing Coronavirus symptoms, or have been advised to self-isolate for any reason, please do not attend. Guidance on Coronavirus symptoms and what you should do if you have them can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
If you are attending the hospice for any reason then please note the following:
- You should wear a face covering prior to entering reception*
- You will be asked to gel your hands on arrival and are encouraged to do so when you leave.
- Face coverings will be required to be worn throughout your visit including during any appointments, consultations or treatment*
- Social distancing guidelines will be observed wherever possible (please note that this may not be possible at all times depending on treatments eg reflexology)
*If you are exempt from wearing a face covering a visor will be provided .
Thank you very much for your co-operation which is much appreciated.
