We want everyone, everywhere to be provided with the best possible palliative care.

That’s why City Hospice performs valuable education and training with the clinical team working with other health care professionals updating them on palliative care and contributing to the training of medical and allied health professionals and nursing students. We host GP short courses, MSC courses in conjunction with Cardiff University and contribute to a palliative e learning programme.  Medical students may accompany our CNS’ or doctors on home visits, or sit in on clinic visits (with a patient’s permission).

We have previously run education days in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK for men and their partners living with Prostate cancer.
