City Hospice celebrates another incredible year with DEPOT
City Hospice is proud to celebrate another successful year of partnership with DEPOT, with an incredible £7,800 raised in support of our work across Cardiff.
Over the past year, DEPOT Live has welcomed thousands of music fans to unforgettable performances from internationally renowned artists including Will Smith, Tom Jones and Rag’n’Bone Man. Alongside the electric atmosphere and world-class entertainment, concertgoers generously supported City Hospice through bucket collections and a voluntary £2 addition to customer bills.
Thanks to that generosity, £7,800.31 will go directly towards helping us provide specialist palliative care to patients with terminal or life-limiting illnesses in their own homes. The funds will also support the emotional and practical care we offer to families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
This continued partnership demonstrates the powerful impact local businesses and their customers can have when they come together to support their community. Every pound raised helps us continue delivering compassionate, expert care to people across Cardiff, completely free of charge.
Mac Smith, Fundraising & Events Manager at City Hospice, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to DEPOT, their team and everyone who attended events over the past year. The atmosphere at DEPOT Live has been amazing, and it’s wonderful to see so many people choosing to support their local hospice while enjoying fantastic live music. Raising over £7,800 is a brilliant achievement and will make a real difference to patients and families across the city.”
City Hospice is proud to work alongside businesses that share our commitment to supporting the local community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to DEPOT and everyone who contributed. Your support truly helps us continue caring for Cardiff.
