Registration fees

Our registration fee is £10 per adult (per person). We do ask how many dogs you’re aiming to bring with you so we can plan how many goody bags and dog bandanas we will need. If you intend to bring more than 4 dogs with you on a single £10 registration fee, please do inform the fundraising team here .  All Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Do I need to register if I don’t have a dog?

All adults and children (3+) who are walking the 5k route will have to pay the entrance fee. This is a fundraising event for City Hospice, and we are working closely with our event partners to bring the best event experience.

Do I need to raise a minimum amount?

There is no minimum amount you need to fundraise when taking part in this event. We do advise to start fundraising as soon you as you register to maximise your potential fundraising total. Our JustGiving page will be live tomorrow. Every penny you raise will support patients and their families with life limiting illnesses in Cardiff.

What is the event schedule?

9.30am registration opens for you to collect your participant number, water and pre purchased t-shirts. 10:45am the warm-up begins, the walk starts at 11am. The dog show starts at 1pm.

Do I need to pay to visit the stalls?

Our event village is free to enter to browse the stalls. If you have family who would like to come along and support, they are welcome to stay in the event village. They may want to bring a camping chair or blankets to sit on the grass.

When do I receive my pre-ordered t-shirt?

T-shirts will be available to collect on the day at registration. There will be a limited amount to purchase on the day and pre-purchasing using the website is encouraged.
