A team from Zurich Insurance took on a Festive Challenge and bought presents for the children in our children’s bereavement group. The children will be going through their first Christmas without a loved one- a parent, grandparent or sibling.
The children range from 6 years old to 12 years old and have been undertaking activities that help them to process their grief and give them tools for coping. As is traditional at the end of a bereavement group after three months, the children are having a party. Zurich’s gifts will be given to the children then at our Hospice Centre, gifts which include a scooter, magic set and a remote control helicopter!
