We are so grateful to our Corporate partners for choosing us as their Charity of the Year and are delighted once again to be supported by The Village Hotel. A fantastic sum of over £10,000 has been raised and presented to us by Area General manager, Simon Chainey, with Ashley Cruickshank (Deputy General Manager) and Leighton Davies, Sales Director.
The team at the Village Hotel have been involved in lots of different activities including taking part in the Margam 10k run, spinathons, tribute nights and Christmas raffle draws.
When receiving the cheque Nicky Piper, Corporate Relationship Manager said:
” We continue to have a great relationship with the team at Village Hotel who support us in lots of ways, in addition to fundraising. This money provides us with vital funds to continue to look after the people of Cardiff living with life limiting illnesses. We are so grateful and look forward to continuing our partnership”.
Simon Chiney, Area General Manager, Village Hotel said:
“The City Hospice was our chosen charity of the year for 2019 here at the Village Hotel & Gym. Through our “Village Green” commitment to the community our team, along with our members and guests managed to raise over £10000. We are very proud to support such a worthy local cause.”
In addition to this fundraising several staff from The Village Hotel are joining our trek of the Great China Wall in October and will continue to be supporting us in 2020.
