Thousands of people across Cardiff and beyond have shown their support for City Hospice’s new Forever Flowers campaign.
Since launching in May, over 1000 Forever Flowers have been sold at £18 per flower, pre-ordered online or by completing a leaflet in local City Hospice stores.
The limited-edition unique and lasting tributes, remembering cherished family members, friends and loved ones, will be displayed within the grounds of one of Cardiff’s most iconic locations, Cardiff Castle, from Saturday July 24 to Sunday August 8 in a striking display
Forever Flowers is proudly sponsored by wealth management firm Brewin Dolphin and also kindly supported by Cardiff Rugby, Dario Security, Eversheds Sutherland and Azets.
David Myrddin-Evans, Senior Investment Manager and Head of Office at Brewin Dolphin Wales, said: “In these challenging times, the City Hospice Forever Flowers campaign has clearly touched the hearts of people across Cardiff and Wales. To see more than 1,000 flowers already bought; to hear the stories behind each of them; and see the impression they make, is both heart-warming and humbling in equal measure.
“As lead sponsors, we at Brewin Dolphin are delighted to have played a part in such an inspirational initiative. Thank you for your vision, your values and your dedication, and we eagerly look forward to seeing the full display.”
Since their first visit to the castle grounds in May for the launch of the campaign, Brewin Dolphin Wales have been keen to support Forever Flowers and members of staff from the investment management and financial planning firm will be volunteering at the display.
David added: “As ever, none of these events could take place without the help of willing volunteers and our staff are looking forward to making a positive contribution; volunteering and welcoming you to Cardiff Castle.”
