City Hospice is thrilled to announce independent coffee shop, Bloc coffee is taking part in Love Your Hospice Month.
Situated in Victoria Park, Bloc Coffee opened in 2018 to bring something back to the community and has now grown into a dynamic business offering great coffee, and fresh food as well as hosting parties and pop up events.
During Love Your Hospice Month, Bloc Coffee will be baking a number of cakes, biscuits, or sweet treats and all profits will be donated to City Hospice.
Donna told us
“City Hospice is there for people in their time of greatest need, not only for their patients but for their families.
As a business, we think sometimes charities don’t always get the recognition they deserve. City Hospice brings so much relief during some of the darkest days but also brings light and shows the kindness of others.
Having lost a family member at a very young age I know how the affects families and permeates the rest of their lives. Any service that can help with the loss of a loved one and cares for people during their final days will always have our support.
Here at Bloc Coffee, we are proud to be supporting Love Your Hospice Month, we will be using February to celebrate how hospice care can make a positive difference to patients, families and loved ones”.
Fundraising Coordinator, Katie Vaughan said,
“We’re thrilled to have the team at Bloc Coffee on board for our Love Your Hospice Month campaign. As Bloc Coffee is located in Victoria Park, why not grab a coffee and a sweet treat to support Love Your Hospice Month, before wandering through the park to see our new Flower Beds in Victoria Park!”
