On 9th November St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff and Capital South Wales kicked off this year’s Toy Appeal.

Thanks to the generosity of Cardiff’s Christmas shoppers we received donations last year for children who had recently had a bereavement.

The children had all lost a parent or grandparent and talked about what their first Christmas without one of their parents would be like. They gain great comfort from sharing their emotions and feelings with the other children who no longer have a Mum or Dad.

The amazing donations we received last year brought a great amount of joy to our children’s group. On behalf of both them and us, thank you.
