City Hospice is delighted that Sony is once again supporting Forever Flowers by purchasing four of this year’s sunflowers.
Personal Assistant to Manager Director, Angela Williams was kind enough to share why Sony are supporting us again:
“Last year, as a community-conscious business and as part of our commitment to support the work of charities close to the hearts of our staff, we felt it only fitting to pay respects to those lost. We symbolically chose the number 4 to reflect our Japanese roots, with the number 4, or Shi 四 associated with grief.
We are incredibly proud to be able to support such a fantastic initiative. So many people have lost loved ones in such difficult circumstances, and due to the pandemic, they haven’t been able to grieve properly or remember those they have lost in the way they would have wished to.
The Forever Flowers display at Cardiff Castle is going to be a beautiful tribute to those lost, and we hope that it brings some light to those who have been struggling with the passing of a loved one during difficult times.”
