City Hospice, Cardiff’s local hospice, would like to thank local media company, Route Media, for their donation of £5k of digital advertising.
The charity will be using the advertising space to promote some of its key events between March and December 2019, the first of which will be Wag This Way (5k sponsored dog walk).
Route Media is a digital media company, specialising in outdoor advertising and the use of ‘digivans’. They travel across Wales helping companies to promote their services and have been running since the start of 2018.
Dean Jones, Managing Director of Route Media, is very pleased to be supporting Cardiff’s local hospice. “We’re a Cardiff business who love the city and its people. We know all about the amazing work the team at City Hospice do and want everyone in Cardiff to be aware of it and how they can support them. We’re sure that by donating a share of our inventory to help raise awareness, we will effectively help spread the word around the city.”
City Hospice is a registered charity at the heart of Cardiff, providing specialist medical, nursing and end of life care to patients in their own homes. Formerly George Thomas Hospice Care, we offer counselling (to adults and children), welfare benefits advice and day centres with a range of activities. City Hospice is the only at-home palliative care provider for the city of Cardiff and needs to raise a total of £1.5m to keep providing these specialist services.
Liz Andrews, Chief Executive of City Hospice, would like to thank Dean and the team for their support. “Without help from businesses like Route Media, we wouldn’t be able to raise the profile of this essential charity and the amazing work it does. We really appreciate this kind donation and want to thank the team for helping us to raise awareness of City Hospice throughout the capital.”
