Richard and Tracey, who are long-time supporters of City Hospice, held a summer tea party in their garden and raised an incredible £1,822.30.
Guests enjoyed tea, coffee and cake in the garden, all of which were homemade and were brought in by members of the community to support the event. Funds were also raised with a raffle, plant sale and City Hospice stall selling jams, chutneys, and knitted items such as bags, blankets and baby clothing, all handmade by Knitwhits knitting and crochet group.
Richard and Tracey have raised thousands for City Hospice over the years, with various fundraising activities including bike rides and their Christmas Sparkle event. Their fundraising began following the passing of their close friend Bernie, who was cared for by City Hospice.

“Thank you so much to Richard and Tracey for all their support over the years. It was such a lovely afternoon in the sunshine, and it was lovely to see so many people from their community come together to raise funds for the hospice. Thank you to all the businesses who donated such amazing raffle prizes, and to every person who came and supported on the day.”
