We were very pleased to welcome back the lovely children and teachers of Llanedeyrn Primary School. Llanedeyrn School are very active supporters of the hospice and will always make time to come and see our patients in the day group often singing and performing for them.

Today our patients were treated to a fantastic collection of modern and classic songs by the pupils, they sang everything from 500 miles by the Proclaimers to Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. The patients and volunteers thoroughly enjoyed the performance and welcomed the children to stay and chat once they had finished.

“The patients absolutely loved it, it was wonderful to see them all chatting and mingling” says Volunteer Officer Alex Fagan. Alex has been a member of the team for nearly two months now and will always make time to join in the day group’s activities.

We can’t thank Llanedeyrn Primary School enough for all their support and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

If you would like to give a talk, performance, or organise an activity for our day centre on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, please call 02920 524150 and ask to speak to Linda.
