The team from Burns Pet Nutrition share their story of why they are supporting Cardiff’s local hospice, and why they are looking forward to this year’s Wag this Way, charity dog walk taking place on Sunday 29th March at Bute Park, Cardiff

“As a Kidwelly-based pet food company, we have a strong commitment to giving back to the local and wider Welsh community. We absolutely love the opportunity to make a difference wherever possible. So choosing to work with City Hospice for a second year supporting Wag this Way is a no-brainer.

Helping pets and owners get exercise, providing healthy goodie bags and helping City Hospice at the same time is a winning combination.

Burns are committed to helping cats, dogs and rabbits lead a happy and healthy life by offering natural pet food free from nasties. Helping owners make informed choices on their pet’s nutrition. We offer a free advice service run by a team of experts which all customers can take advantage of.

Making a difference

Burns Pet Nutrition is a family-run business and our key values are that we consider ourselves ethical, trustworthy and transparent. We try to emulate these values across all that we do. We donate 25% of all profits to charitable causes. The company donate our award-winning food to over 25 rescue centres across the UK and wherever possible will try to help pets and people in need.

Wag this Way

Wag This Way 2019 was a lovely event to support and we had the best time. The weather was on our side, Mr Motivator was a lot of fun (dancing included). It was a great day to bring local communities and like-minded people together to attend a fun dog walk around Bute Park.

We are so excited for 2020!

The team are looking forward to meeting all the humans and their furry friends that attended in 2019 and new faces for 2020! We cannot wait to see what’s new and all the exciting surprises City Hospice has in store for us! We’re also excited to be able to meet pet owners and offer free nutrition advice and pet food samples.

If you have a dog and live in the Cardiff area, you should attend this event to support your local community. Blow away the winter cobwebs and socialise with like-minded people at one of Cardiff’s most beautiful spots.”

Thank you to Burns Pet Nutrition for their fantastic support of City Hospice. Our 5km, charity dog walk, Wag this Way takes place on Sunday 29th March at Bute Park, Cardiff. To register to take part in this year’s event please visit click here.
