We are delighted to see personal trainer, Katharine Warren returning to this year’s Sparkle Walk and warming our supporters up before they set off on their 10km nighttime walk.
Based in her own studio on a farm on Caerphilly Mountain, Kat runs both 1-1 and small group fitness sessions. Kat’s ethos focuses on ‘fitness is for everyone’ and takes pride in inclusivity. Last year, Kat kept the crowd warm and we’re looking forward to seeing what she has in store for us this year!

“The Sparkle Walk is a fantastic way to spread the word of the City Hospice and the inspiring work they do! I look forward to being involved in an event that helps raise vital funds for a special charity plus helping people get the extra steps in is a win-win for me.
Last year was so much fun, despite the drizzle everyone was so happy. I loved looking out at the crowd and seeing everyone’s glittery outfits. Last year I got everyone moving to Dancing in the Moonlight and this year I’ve got something just as awesome planned, I hope everyone is ready to get warm!
City Hospice’s Sparkle Walk event is about bringing the community together and raising awareness of the fantastic work City Hospice provides to Cardiff and I would encourage everyone to get involved”.
