We’re so excited that it’s just over one week to go until our City Hospice Sparkle Walk. We’re so grateful to everyone who has registered for this event and we really can’t wait to see you all.
It’s so special to have this event hosted at Insole Court in Llandaff. It’s been a hard 18 months for all charities and we would like to thank the team for their support.
Gray Hill, Director of Insole Court explains:
“City Hospice is one of Cardiff’s most important charities. Like the Insole Court Trust, it supports people in the community, and we’re delighted to be able to offer our beautiful grounds to host the event. The 2019 Sparkle Walk was a great success and we can’t wait to be part of it again this year.
“We love welcoming visitors from across Cardiff and beyond. The Sparkle Walk brings people together to do something positive and we’re looking forward to welcoming hundreds of walkers and all that positivity!
“It’s been a hard 18 months for everyone, and we had to stay closed for quite a long time. Events like Sparkle Walk help us reconnect with visitors and help us share our special place. Insole Court is at its best when it’s full of people.
“Insole Court is a Victorian Mansion and events venue in a beautiful public park. We’re open every day for heritage tours, activities and events plus we host regular parities, functions, weddings and wakes. We also have a fabulous gift shop and café, The Potting Shed, so we’re well worth a visit.
“Insole Court is run by an independent charity, the Insole Court Trust. We utilise the mansion and gardens to improve the lives of our visitors. If you’d like to learn more about Insole Court, the charity or how you can help us, visit insolecourt.org or find us on social media @insolecourt.”
