City Hospice is delighted to announce local business, Green Door Bakery is taking part in Love Your Hospice Month.
Based in the heart of Cyncoed Village, Rhian Jones opened Green Door Bakery in May 2022 after finding a space to pursue her passion for baking and has been an avid supporter of City Hospice.
Love Your Hospice Month is an opportunity for the community to get involved and raise awareness of the vital services City Hospice provides. Green Door Bakery will be baking sweat treats and all proceeds will go to City Hospice.

“After almost a year of opening, we have won Highly Commendable Young Person of the Year for Cardiff Business Awards 2022 and have so much more to come this year! City Hospice is an amazing charity that I’ve always wanted to support for personal reasons, as well as support in general as I know the amazing work they do.
This campaign spoke to me as something new and exciting, and I knew I could provide something fun and different to promote this campaign! I will be creating Choco hearts with brownie middles in the City Hospice colours as part of my promotion. The Choco hearts are my best seller, so I know they will hopefully help with fundraising”.
Rhian encourages other communities and businesses to get involved with Love Your Hospice Month to help bring awareness to Cardiff’s local hospice as well as promote your business.

“I am so excited to be working with Rhian and Green Door Bakery on this campaign throughout February. I can definitely vouch for Rhian’s Choco Hearts – they are delicious! It will be my first campaign since I started working for City Hospice and I can’t wait to see other communities and businesses get involved throughout February”.
