Wag this Way event returns on Sunday 26 March 2023.
Dogs and their owners are invited to join the charity for a 5km sponsored walk in Bute Park, Cardiff, followed by a dog show hosted by Dog Furiendly where pooches can be in with a chance of winning some tasty treats.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of all of our event partners who help make Wag this Way happen. Let’s meet them…
Dog Furiendly
The UK-wide travel platform that helps dog owners find dog-friendly things to do, places to eat and drink or stay with their pooch by their side, Dog Furiendly returns for its third year as an event partner of Wag this Way.
The Dog Furiendly team run the dog show element of the event, providing owners with a variety of categories to enter including gorgeous girl, precious puppy, best rescue and more.
Adele Pember said: “What we loved the most last year was the diversity of the dogs that participated. It was truly a delight to see dogs of all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique personalities and talents. We’re really looking forward to running the dog show once again and seeing all the gorgeous dogs and the special bond they have with their owners.
“It’s one of our favourite diary dates year after year and it gives us the opportunity to come together with our community, raise funds and awareness for City Hospice and help make a difference in the lives of those in need. The best part? This event allows dogs to be part of the fundraising!”
Burns Pet Nutrition
Burns Pet Nutrition, pioneers of natural and healthy pet food, are proud supporters of City Hospice and are delighted to return as event partners of Wag this Way again in 2023. It’s a particularly special year for the company as they celebrate their 30th anniversary; that’s three decades of healthy pets, expert advice and natural nutrition!
On completion of the 5km sponsored walk, participants will be greeted with a goody bag courtesy of Burns Pet Nutrition and those special pooches who enter the dog show could be in with a chance of winning some tasty treats from the company too.
Gemma Leach Events Coordinator at Burns Pet Nutrition said, “Last year’s event was a lot of fun for everyone involved! It was great to see so many people and their four legged family members out and about to support City Hospice. We can’t wait to meet some new and old faces this year. It’s a super fun day out for dogs, owners and animal lovers alike, all while supporting a great cause!”
