Dario Security is sponsoring our Sparkle Walk for a second year that takes place Friday 23rd September 2022 at Insole Court.
Family run security business Dario Security Co Ltd has supported City Hospice for several years now and we are absolutely delighted to see them return and sponsor our Sparkle Walk for a second year.
Operations Manager, Cole explains why they are sponsoring this event for a second year:
“We are supporting City Hospice because we understand the importance of the work they do for patients and how much it means to their families. We always knew City Hospice was a worthy charity but now we have been fortunate enough to see first-hand the positive effect they have on the community and the outstanding care they provide to patients.
Dario Security supporting last years’ Sparkle Walk
It’s an honour to be selected as the headline sponsor again this year and we’re looking forward to taking part and supporting the Sparkle Walk event. We wanted to be the headline sponsor again because we believe we are the ideal company to assist with the event on the night and are very familiar with the local area.
Being a small family-run business, we have all lived and grown up in the area and know a lot of people who have benefited from the hospice. We also know that we can provide additional support during the walk as a security company, wearing high viz jackets and keeping the ground safe and on track.
The atmosphere was great last year. Everyone taking part was enthusiastic and ready to go despite it being a cold night in September. We really enjoyed the warm-up, stretching and dancing which got everyone hyped up and ready for the walk. The video, which was released shortly after, really captured the appreciation of the people who took part.
We’re especially looking forward to getting more of our team involved this year. Unfortunately, one member of our management team was unable to attend the event due to a broken leg and another due to a holiday so looking forward to getting them involved this year.”
He added
The Sparkle Walk brings people together and raises awareness of a fantastic charity and we could encourage everyone to get involved. We always knew about the work the hospice did, but it wasn’t until we became sponsors, we realised the need for a service like this”

This event provides a special opportunity for the community to come together and remember loved ones and we’re so proud to have Dario Security involved again.
