City Hospice Ambassadors help celebrate International Nurses Day with a special delivery from Ellis Jenkins

Our Ambassadors have got together to celebrate  International Nurses Day with the nurses at City Hospice.  Spiro Borg of Spiros Fine Dining and Chris Macnamara of the Brogue Trader have supplied quality shoe boxes containing a beautiful afternoon tea. Inside were delicious treats and  some miniature beverages by Mark Douglas of  buzbee’s.  The boxes were kindly finished with a lovely message of thanks from the Ambassadors. This was courtesy of Booie Sall of Harlequin Printing and Packaging and they were delivered in beautiful jute bags.

Our team received a fabulous surprise when Ambassador Ellis Jenkins – Cardiff Blues and Wales rugby International arrived at Ty Hospis

Ellis told us

“I’m really proud to have got together with some of the other Ambassadors  to say a “big thank you” to the team at City Hospice on International Nurses Day. It’s never been more fitting at a time like is that we say thank you and celebrate their exceptional care. They continue to look after people in Cardiff facing terminal and life limiting illnesses.”

“As Ambassadors we want to thank the wonderful team at City Hospice who remain on the frontline during this difficult time and its’s lovely to recognise them on this special day” – Spiro Borg

Our Ambassadors are an important part of the team at City Hospice and support is in many ways. It was a real treat today for the team to receive these wonderful gifts on what is a special day today.

Liz Andrews CEO at City Hospice said

” We’re very grateful for the support of our Ambassadors Chris, Spiro and Ellis. The fact that they have joined with other local businesses in Cardiff to support us is fantastic. Thanks to Booie from Harlequin  and Mark from buzbees too. It just emphasizes the strength and support of the business community in Cardiff .Thank you all  for making the celebration of International Nurses Day so special for our exceptional team. They really deserve it and a visit from Ellis certainly has made their day too!”
