We were delighted to welcome Chris back from his Moped Mayhem 2 challenge after raising £7,022 for City Hospice.
Moped Mayhem 2 took seven days to complete. Chris rode from Alicante, Spain to the Algarve in Portugal and from there to Porthcawl in Wales all on his 40-year-old classic Vespa Scooter.
We asked Chris about his adventure
“It was very hot and dusty most of the time and I am very tired, but it was worth it! The scooter did a maximum of 60mph and the one time it rained; we were stopped by the police on the motorway for travelling too slow but together it was great fun! I’d like to thank all of my supporters for sponsoring me and ultimately supporting City Hospice”
