We’re delighted that our Platinum Pledge members, Neil Foley & Co Solicitors, will be taking part in our 5k sponsored dog walk, Wag This Way, with pooches Chester and Hamish, on Sunday 24th March.
They’re excited to be joining us for this event and supporting the work we do helping patients with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes.
Neil Foley & Co Solicitors was started in 2001 and is a family-run business. They are an experienced firm, giving advice and support to clients on a regular basis, covering a number of different services.
Matt Foley, son of owner Neil, is looking forward to supporting Wag This Way. “We are very proud of being one of City Hospice’s Platinum Pledge members and supporting the charity in its continued work providing palliative care services to its patients in their time of need. We’re looking forward to Chester and Hamish (the dogs) getting a much-needed breath of fresh air out of their usual surroundings in our office.
We place great value on our support for the City Hospice as a charity which services the same community where we both work and live. Supporting City Hospice gives us the opportunity to give back the community who have supported us a business and our team’s participation in the charity’s activities is proving an enjoyable change to our usual day to day work.
As well as involvement in our fundraising events, they’re planning a monthly Cupcake Friday, where team members who have a flair for baking will be selling their creations to co-workers and clients alike.
Daisy, our Fundraising Officer, said “I want to thank Matt and all the team at Neil Foley & Co for supporting City Hospice and signing up for Wag this Way. It’s thanks to local businesses like this that we can carry on getting our name out into the community and providing a high quality service. Both humans and owners have raised £165 in fundraising so far so well done to them!”
Chester and Hamish have a Justgiving page where you can donate a few pounds. It’s here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/foleyandco
