Carter Lauren Construction attempt the Three Peaks for City Hospice
After a successful charity bike ride last year in aid of the City Hospice, the staff of Carter Lauren Construction decided that this year would be very different. They have taken it upon themselves to climb the Three Welsh Peaks within a 24hr period. Members of the team have been training very hard, walking various locations during the last three months to adjust to climate and to make sure their legs last the exhausting challenge.

Nicky Piper (City Hospice), Jason Bell, Debbie Jones and Jon Folkes (all Carter Lauren Construction) training in Llanddeusant, Llangadog in preparation for the Three Peaks
During the weekend of 6th May to 7th May they shall be setting off to climb the first peak – Snowden at around 2am in the morning then after successfully completing this they move onto Cadair Idris, the 2nd Peak, at 7am and then to finally complete the 3rd Peak at Pen y Fan, arriving back at their Cardiff office on Sunday evening.
A lot of effort and co-operation has been put into this challenge to ensure that the team are fully geared up for this event and more importantly, to raise a fantastic amount of money for City Hospice through various Sponsors along the way, for which we are very grateful.
Neil Carter, Managing Director added, “I’m delighted to support the staff as they attempt this challenge. We have such a great team morale here at Carter Lauren Construction and I know they will all conquer the Three Peaks and have a lot of fun at the same time.”
