City Hospice is extremely proud to announce that we have recently been selected as Carter Lauren Construction Ltd’s Charity of the Year
Carter Lauren is one of the largest privately owned South Wales based construction companies. The company’s operations extend across the whole of the UK and include clients, such as Nando’s, Costa and JD Wetherspoon.
They have already started fundraising and have also agreed to help redecorate the hospice’s centre, Ty Hosbis, in Whitchurch free of charge.
Managing Director, Neil Carter said;
“We at Carter Lauren feel privileged to be part of this opportunity to support City Hospice. We are delighted to be a small part in supporting City Hospice which is a fantastic cause.
There are so many ways that support can be provided generally from industry for wonderful causes. We sincerely look forward with great enthusiasm to assisting with this and other possibilities.
In addition to Jon Folkes arranging the North to South bike ride through the mountainous terrain, we have already made inroads into the Christmas Jumper day, but not too sure about a bake-off!
We will also spread the word. I am confident that our supply chain will buy into the wonderful ideas and genuinely rewarding benefits in helping others that are clearly less fortunate”.
Nicky Piper, Corporate Partnerships Manager at City Hospice said;
“Thank you to the Carter Lauren team for choosing to support Cardiff’s local hospice, as their charity of the year. The great work of the charity would not be possible without our supporters in the community and business world. Carter Lauren have been busy decorating Ty Hosbis, and helping us to maintain a warm welcoming environment for our patients and families”.
