Skipper Paul Morgan and his team from the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board Estates department were delighted to receive the trophy for being the Cardiff Raft race biggest fundraisers. The team, who raised £1722, had a really good time and are planning to enter two rafts next year..

They were presented with the trophy at the University Hospital in Cardiff.

Captain Paul said, “It was a pleasure to raise funds for such a worthwhile charity. We hope to retain our trophy next year and maybe even win another by coming 1st! The boys are already in training and our designers hard at work!”

If you have a group that would like to enter the 2018 race (10th June) contact the events department. They even have spare rafts ready to use if you need one. Tel 029 2052 4150
