This special event will celebrate the work of City Hospice, and bring together supporters for our annual festive campaign.
Guests will enjoy the company of The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Cllr Dan De’Ath, and be entertained with music and song from the CytSain Choir, Jessy Sings and the Ukelele Orchestra/Cerddorfa Ukulele.
Watch our Light Up A Life Christmas Tree lights be switched on by our special young guests, Bethany and Megan – two children who benefited and made friends attending our Children’s Bereavement Group.
This is a free event, and we hope you will join us in this stunning venue, where light refreshments will also be available to launch this year’s Light Up a Life campaign.
Light Up A Life Appeal
City Hospice touches the lives of thousands of families throughout Cardiff. Every day, our exceptional team work tirelessly to ensure every person in our care can lead their fullest life for as long as possible. On the run up to the festive period we invite you to light up the life of someone living with a terminal illness in Cardiff. Supporters are invited to make a donation of their choosing, to remember the memory of a loved one, and give a family in Cardiff the opportunity to receive the highest levels of care offered by City Hospice.
We very much hope you will join us in supporting this year’s City Hospice Light Up A Life campaign, either by attending one of our many events or making a donation.
Our Light Up A Life messages of remembrance will feature within our Book of Remembrance. This special book will be updated periodically and displayed from 7th November until Christmas at The Pantry, within Cornerstone. Within this venue the City Hospice Christmas tree will also be displayed, where you can write a special message for a loved on a Light Up A Life Tag.
Your support of City Hospice means a great deal to us, but most importantly to the people we care for.
