Jolly Jumpers is back for Christmas 2021
Proudly sponsored by Western Power Distribution
Now, It’s time to get competitive, your Jolly Jumper can be any colour you like, head wear is also welcome, everyone can be involved in our Jolly Jumpers campaign, including your pets.
What better way to start off the Christmas celebrations than joining us for Jolly Jumpers 2021!
Get together with your colleagues, pupils and friends and pick your Jolly Jumper day – between now and Christmas.
On the day ask your colleagues, friends and pupils to make a donation for wearing their Christmas jumper. From the office to the classroom or even via ZOOM – the choice is yours. By getting Christmassy for City Hospice you’ll be helping to provide much needed hospice care to patients all over Cardiff during the festive period.
You can even choose how to get involved!
Why not extend your Jolly Jumper day and add some fundraising ideas. You could challenge your boss or teacher to wear the worst Christmas jumper they can find, host a Christmas themed quiz on Zoom (questions provided in our Jolly Jumpers pack) or have a socially distanced coffee morning.
Share your pictures with us on social media, tag us in @cityhospice and use the hashtag #CHJollyJumpers

Ruth Adams, Corporate Communications Officer at WPD explains why they are supporting our Jolly Jumpers campaign for the third year:
“At Western Power Distribution (WPD) we are at the heart of the community. Our staff who
work for WPD also live in the communities we serve, so we have developed our support to directly benefit organisations like City Hospice who provide medical, nursing and end of life care to patients and support their families.
We will be encouraging our staff to take part in our City Hospice Jolly Jumper Day in December, even our Safety Superhero, Pylonman will get involved.
This year has been very challenging for charities like City Hospice so this is a great way to have some fun and raise money for such a worthy cause. Even though a lot of people may still be working from home, they can join in virtually. Its an excellent way of keeping in touch with family, friends and colleagues during the festive season.
The work of City Hospice is really important, they do such a wonderful job in our community.”
