Patient Driver

Patient Driver

Patient Drivers support us by transporting patients to and from their homes to our Hospice in Whitchurch. Our patients are based across the city and often need support with transport to attend appointments and sessions such as our Day Hospice. By using your own car, you’ll be enabling our patients to socialise with others, receive complementary therapies, and access a range of wellbeing services.

Day Hospice & Wellbeing Services

Day Hospice & Wellbeing Services

Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting Day Hospice and Wellbeing Services, helping patients and families feel welcomed, supported and connected. Flexible opportunities are available across a growing range of activities and workshops throughout the week.

Complementary Therapy

Complementary Therapy

We offer complementary therapy treatments to patients, their families and carers, and those who have been bereaved. Currently provided by a small team of qualified volunteers, we hope to expand these services to offer therapies every day of the week. Complementary therapy is known to aid relaxation and improve a sense of wellbeing. We offer massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.
