Sian Lloyd

Sian Lloyd

Sian Lloyd is an experienced journalist and broadcaster, has supported City Hospice for several years and we are delighted she agreed to join us as an Ambassador in October 2021.

Sian is a familiar face across the UK, presenting national programmes including BBC Breakfast, BBC Crimewatch Roadshow and Panorama.  She has reported on some of the key moments in recent history as a senior correspondent for the BBC. Sian began her TV and Radio career in Wales, as a reporter and then presenter of BBC Wales Today and the drive-time radio programme Good Evening Wales. Sian grew up in Wrexham and learnt Welsh. She also appears on Welsh language programmes on S4C. Sian is also an experienced Awards Host and Conference Chair and has extensive knowledge of the live events sector.

Sian lives in Cardiff with her family, and after years of travel for work, will now be based in Wales full time.

I’ve been proud to support the work of the charity by helping with fundraising events for many years, and have seen how the team at City Hospice has continued to develop and grow.

I’m delighted to become an Ambassador, and look forward to helping them expand their work further, reaching even more patients and their families, for whom they provide vital care and support at the time when they need it the most.
