Paul qualified as an Accountant in 2008 with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).  He gained his post qualified experience within a number of industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Chronic Care, Medical Diagnostics and most recently, at SRK Consulting (UK) which is an employee owed Mining and Natural Resource consultancy where he works as CFO covering the UK, Finland, Sweden and Kazakhstan.

Experience includes; ERP System implementations, development of Financial Business Partnering services to improve Commercial guidance and awareness, enhanced Finance business integration, Legal Entity restructuring and driving improvements in Financial Planning, Analysis and reporting.  An essential part of being able to deliver this is the creation and development of Finance teams striving to be best in class through hands on passionate leadership.

Paul has two daughters aged 12 and 15 years.  Outside work he is a keen runner with his favourite events being the Cardiff and Las Vegas half marathons, he also enjoys watching the odd game of rugby!

Paul is very much looking forward to working with the Board of Trustees and hopes to bring experience that the Hospice can benefit from.
