Maurice Prendergast
After a life in property, Maurice retired 10 years ago as a director of a medium sized, London based, project management company. He has worked mainly with the NHS on the strategic development of their estates and has managed a number of hospital projects in the UK including the first PFI in Scotland. He has an MSc in Property Development and has lectured extensively to the NHS on Project Management and Business Case Development.
He was a visiting lecturer at the University of the South Bank; School of the Built Environment and Architecture. He is ex-chairman of the Association of Project Managers Special Interest Group on Organisation Cultures and studied Health Economics at the London School of Economics. He has two daughters and lives in Cardiff. He also ran cross country for Glamorgan and was a Welsh Athletics distance coach.
