Kim Bird is a funeral cost consultant and consumer champion.

She has appeared in the national and local press, on TV, and on radio and sits on industry and government bereavement and funeral groups campaigning for better outcomes for bereaved families and funeral consumers.

“I became aware of the excellent hospice care provided by City Hospice when my mum, Norma, became a patient in 2017. I also became aware that this vital community service can only survive with the support and financial generosity of others. My role as an Ambassador is to raise awareness of City Hospice’s service and fundraising events. I am honoured to play a small part in supporting such an amazing organisation that is making a difference to so many people, by giving them access – whenever they may need it – to the same outstanding care and compassion my mum and I received.”
