Diana retired from a position as Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Velindre Hospital, Cardiff in 2010. During her 32 years at the unit, she worked closely with the IT department on the development of CANISC, and held the posts of Director of Clinical Audit and Clinical Governance Lead. She co-ordinated the NCEPOD national confidential enquiry into patient deaths within 30 days of chemotherapy and was the first author of their 2008 report “For better, for worse”. Since retiring, Diana has undertaken voluntary work for the National Museum of Wales and Christian Aid. She is a deacon at Eglwys y Crwys Presbyterian Church and a member of their Amateur Dramatics Group.
