Premier Commercial Vehicles, one of South Wales’ largest new van leasing companies, organised a highly successful golf day at Cottrell Park in support of City Hospice and raised an incredible £4,265.

The event was well supported with 18 teams taking part to support City Hospice and Premier Commercial Vehicles. Martin Blizzard, Director of Premier Commercial Vehicles, expressed his delight at the outcome of the event, highlighting the company’s longstanding commitment to City Hospice’s vital work.

“We have supported City Hospice for a number of years because we have seen the wonderful work they do. We are already working on next year’s golf day and are excited at the thought of it being even bigger and more successful.”

City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital. In addition to providing care and services to patients with terminal or life limiting illnesses, the charity offers counselling and support services for their patients’ families.

The funds raised by Premier Commercial Vehicles will aid the hospice in continuing its essential service within Cardiff.

Our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Nicky Piper said, “We’re so grateful to Premier Commercial Vehicles and the Blizzard family, who have supported us for several years now. They organised a brilliant golf event.”
