Panasonic TOUGHBOOK team takes on Tough Mudder for City Hospice
This summer, a team of 11 employees from Panasonic TOUGHBOOK will be putting their strength and stamina to the test by taking on the South West Tough Mudder, a 15km obstacle course all in aid of City Hospice.
Taking place on the 16th August, the challenge will see the ‘TOUGH Tribe 25’ navigate mud, water, and extreme physical trails together with a target to raise £5,000 for Cardiff’s local hospice.
Rachael Pugh, European Partner Marketing & Enablement, said,
“At Toughbook we pride ourselves on being market leaders in rugged technology, delivering devices that perform in the toughest conditions, so we thought it was only fair to put ourselves to the test too!
Each member is training hard to prepare, and we’re excited to tackle the course together, showcasing that Toughbook is tough through and through”.
The Panasonic Toughbook team, based in Cardiff, has a longstanding relationship with the hospice. Having previously supported previous events including the Raft Race, the team were keen to support a cause close to home.
Rebecca Earley, UK & I Marketing Assistant, added,
“City Hospice is a local charity that means a lot to many of our Cardiff-based colleagues. Their work has touched the lives of people we know and we’re proud to support them again through this latest fundraising challenge”.
Nicky Piper, Corporate Partnerships Manager, said,
“We are incredibly grateful to the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK team for choosing to support us once again. Their enthusiasm, energy, and commitment to giving back to the local community is truly inspiring.
Fundraising challenges like this not only raise vital funds for our services but also help spread awareness about the important work we do. We wish the whole team the best of luck with their Tough Mudder, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!”
