Six Welsh businesses are showing their support for Forever Flowers as sponsors as the popular campaign returns for its sixth year.
Forever Flowers are unique and lasting tributes to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones. The flowers will feature in a beautiful display within Cardiff Castle from Saturday 1 to Saturday 8 August. The charity’s chosen flower this year is the pink poppy which symbolises love, compassion, peace and admiration.
The six businesses supporting the campaign are Dragon Signs, Eversheds Sutherland, McLays, Premier Forest Products, Quantum Advisory and Wales & West Housing Association.

One of the companies supporting Forever Flowers is Dragon Signs, a leading UK signage and branding company specialising in large format print, vehicle graphics, wayfinding and bespoke signage solutions for brands, events and organisations across the UK.
The company chose to support City Hospice through this campaign in recognition of how the charity helps families across Cardiff, providing compassionate care during some of life’s most difficult moments. They particularly wanted to back Forever Flowers because it creates a meaningful space for people to remember loved ones and the firm has offered their signage expertise to help bring the event’s garden of memories community art project to life again this year.
Nathan Black, Commercial Director at Dragon Signs, said: “The work City Hospice does for families is absolutely incredible, and Forever Flowers is such a special tribute. We wanted to step up and show our support. Providing the signage for the event is our way of giving back to a charity that means so much to so many, and we’re incredibly proud to be involved.”

Global law firm Eversheds Sutherland returns to sponsor the campaign for a sixth year, having sponsored Forever Flowers since its inception. From its Cardiff office, its team advises clients across all key areas of business law including corporate M&A, technology, real estate, employment and commercial litigation.
As longstanding supporters of City Hospice, the firm greatly values the vital role the charity plays in the local community and the real difference the care and support the hospice provides makes to patients, families and loved ones.
Matthew Gough, Partner in Consumer, Commercial and Technology Law at Eversheds Sutherland, said: “We are delighted to once again support City Hospice through the Forever Flowers campaign at Cardiff Castle. It is a wonderful initiative that brings people together to remember loved ones while supporting the invaluable work of the hospice. The pink poppy display is especially poignant, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing it this summer.”

McLays, a leading print, mail and digital communications provider with a history dating back around 200 years, will be sponsoring Forever Flowers for a second time.
As a Cardiff-based business, the company believes in the importance of supporting local organisations and charities like City Hospice that make a genuine difference to the people, families and communities in the city.
Mark Vaughan, Sales Director at McLays, said: “We are proud to support City Hospice’s Forever Flowers appeal, recognising the vital care and support they provide to individuals and families in our local community during some of life’s most challenging moments. City Hospice makes a real difference and we are proud to contribute to such a meaningful cause.”

Sponsoring Forever Flowers for a fifth year is Newport-based timber company Premier Forest Products. The company specialises in the wholesale importation, distribution and manufacturing of timber products and timber based solutions from across multiple sites in the UK.
Premier Forest originally became involved with Forever Flowers in 2022, sponsoring the campaign and purchasing a number of flowers in memory of former colleagues to feature in their workplace garden. Touched by the sentiment of the campaign and the important work City Hospice do, the company has continued to support Forever Flowers ever since.
Terry Edgell, CEO of Premier Forest and a business ambassador for City Hospice, said: “Forever Flowers is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones, a special way to keep their memories alive. This is our fifth year supporting the campaign, and each flower brings a smile to our faces. We look forward to seeing the pink poppies at the display this summer.”

Quantum Advisory, sponsoring Forever Flowers for the first time, is devoted to providing first-class pensions and employee benefits services to small and medium-sized schemes. The firm provides expert advice and a trusted relationship to support trustees, employees and scheme members, listening and acting in their best interests.
As part of their commitment to creating positive social impact in the communities they serve, Quantum has chosen to support City Hospice in recognition of the vital palliative care they provide in Cardiff and their shared values with the charity including keeping people at the heart of what they do and providing the very best level of service and care.
Joanne Eynon, Partner at Quantum Advisory, said: “Supporting Forever Flowers is important to us as it’s an opportunity for individuals to celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones – something that we can all relate to. We’ve supported City Hospice for a number of years and volunteered at the display at Cardiff Castle for the last two years, so we wanted to do even more this year by sponsoring the event. We’re honoured to be supporting Forever Flowers.”

Wales & West Housing is sponsoring Forever Flowers for a second year. The housing association manages more than 12,600 high quality, affordable homes in 13 local authority areas across Wales, including almost 4,000 homes in the capital. Its vision is to achieve strong, sustainable growth to make a difference to people’s lives, homes and communities.
Wales & West Housing are keen supporters of City Hospice as the support the charity gives to families in their time of need will have touched the lives of their residents, wider families and communities.
Anne Hinchey, Group Chief Executive at Wales & West Housing said: “We’re delighted to support City Hospice to provide the best quality of care for families. For decades it has provided vital specialist, home-based medical and nursing care to patients facing life-limiting illness. It focuses on supporting families in their time of need by providing welfare and financial advice, complementary therapies, counselling and bereavement support. We recognise how important it is for the charity to reach its fundraising targets so that it can continue to deliver its crucial, free services within our communities.”
