Hospice heroes run the half

A team of 30 heroic runners took part in this year’s Cardiff half marathon on 2nd October, raising vital funds for hospice care in Cardiff.  Team GTHC, made up of supporters of the hospice, are set to raise £7,500 towards the costs of providing essential community based palliative care.

Christine Chandler, community fundraiser at GTHC said:

“Thank you to every one of our brilliant team of runners – you are all hospice heroes.  Your efforts and the generosity of your supporters will make a real difference to the lives of people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses in Cardiff.”

Team GTHC is already taking sign ups for next year’s half marathon, so please get in touch with Christine if you’d like to reserve your place now.
