Great Cardiff Feast to Support City Hospice this September

Food lovers from across Cardiff are invited to enjoy a feast of flavours while supporting a vital local cause as the Great Cardiff Feast returns from Thursday 24th September to Sunday 27th September.

The four-day event will bring together a fantastic selection of food, drink and family-friendly entertainment, with City Hospice announced as the event’s charity partner. Through bucket collections across the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to support the charity’s work providing specialist palliative care and wellbeing services to people living with life-limiting illnesses across Cardiff.

Organised by LSD Promotions, the Great Cardiff Feast has become a popular fixture in the city’s events calendar, showcasing an array of street food vendors, artisan producers and local businesses. The festival offers visitors the chance to experience cuisines from around the world while enjoying live entertainment in the heart of Cardiff.

As Cardiff’s local hospice charity, City Hospice provides specialist home-based palliative care, counselling and wellbeing services to patients with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, as well as support for families and carers. The charity helps more than 1,000 patients and families each year, ensuring individuals receive compassionate care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Katie Vaughan, Senior Community Fundraiser at City Hospice, said:

“We are delighted to be a part of the Great Cardiff Feast and are grateful to the team for choosing to support City Hospice. Events like this bring communities together while raising vital funds and awareness for our services. We are especially looking forward to the live entertainment and encourage people to come along, enjoy the fantastic atmosphere, and help make a difference to patients and families across Cardiff.”

Siobhan Noake, Head of Brand and Corporate Communications, said:

“Since bringing the Great Cardiff Feast to Cardiff, we’ve received such a warm welcome from the city, so it feels really important to us that the event gives something back to the local community too. We’re incredibly proud to be supporting City Hospice this September and helping raise both funds and awareness for the vital work they do for patients and families across Cardiff. The Great Cardiff Feast is all about bringing people together, supporting independent businesses and creating a fantastic experience in the heart of the city. We hope our visitors will get behind City Hospice while enjoying everything the Feast has to offer.”

Visitors are encouraged to come along, sample some of the city’s best food and drink offerings, enjoy the weekend’s entertainment, whilst supporting City Hospice.
