Cardiff’s local hospice, City Hospice, has announced Rogers Jones Auctioneers as the headline sponsor of its Forever Flowers campaign for 2025.

The popular campaign, which provides an opportunity to celebrate and remember loved ones with a lasting tribute, returns to Cardiff Castle from Saturday 2 to Sunday 10 August, marking its fifth consecutive year. Representing hope, resilience and new beginnings, this year’s Forever Flower is the daffodil, Wales’ national flower.

Rogers Jones is one of the UK’s leading fine art valuers and auction house companies. With a strong foothold in Wales, they specialise in disciplines in the field of antiques, art, jewellery and collectables, and also offer a comprehensive service in probate and insurance valuations.

The company’s sponsorship of the Forever Flowers campaign aligns perfectly with their ongoing commitment to City Hospice. The partnership, which includes hosting an annual art auction every December as part of the Light up a Life appeal and Ben Rogers Jones’ role as an ambassador, reflects their dedication to supporting a charity that brings positivity to the lives of so many people in the most difficult circumstances.

Ben Rogers Jones, Partner and Auctioneer at Rogers Jones Auctioneers, said:

“As fine art auctioneers, we appreciate how art can bring powerful meaning to people. The display of flowers at Cardiff Castle formed as part of the Forever Flowers campaign is in itself powerful art; the campaign parallels seamlessly with what we do as fine art auctioneers.

“I look forward to planting my own Forever Flower to remember someone special that I lost recently. We will be asking our many clients and friends of Rogers Jones & Co to do the same and make the 2025 Forever Flowers campaign the most successful yet.”

Dr Liz Booyse, Chief Executive of City Hospice, said:

“We are delighted to announce Rogers Jones Auctioneers as the headline sponsor of this year’s Forever Flowers campaign. It’s wonderful to have a partner on board who understands our mission at City Hospice and shares our commitment to making a real difference in people’s lives.”

Forever Flowers supports the work of City Hospice, the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in Cardiff. The charity provides care and a wide range of services including welfare advice and complementary therapies to patients with terminal or life limiting illnesses, as well as bereavement support and counselling for the families of its patients.

Forever Flowers is also supported by Cardiff Rugby, Eversheds Sutherland, Keen Insurance, McLays, Premier Forest Products and Wales & West Housing.
