The Vaughan/Jones family are all getting warmed up for a pawsome day!
The family are really looking forward to City Hospice’s Wag this Way 5k sponsored dog walk on 20th March in Bute Park with new addition to the family, Benji.

Laura and Matt with Benji
Mum, Karen and daughter Katie have signed up to volunteer for the event whilst Dad, Gareth, daughter Laura and hubby Matt are doing the walk with gorgeous Benji.
Karen explains why they are getting involved in this event:
“As a family City Hospice is very close to our hearts caring for a close family friend at such a heart-breaking time. We have realised over the last few years how crucial fundraising is and how the impact of volunteers is essential at the various events.
This year with a new addition to the family, Benji the sprockapoo, we will be taking part and also volunteering. It will be Benji’s first fundraising event and the first time that Katie and I have volunteered. We are all very excited, especially meeting all the four-legged participants. We love walking as a family so what better way to spend a Sunday whilst raising money for such a great cause at the same time. We’re sure Benji will love it too and enjoy some well earned treats from the various stalls. We’re all excited to be back at a ‘live’ event too! ‘Woof Woof’”.
No strangers now to City Hospice fundraising events, the Vaughan’s have taken part in the 2.6 challenge, 100 Heroes Challenge and two Sparkle Walks. As a charity we are so grateful for their support.

We are really looking forward to seeing the Vaughans/Jones once again and it’s great that the family are both volunteering and participating. As a dog lover I’m excited to meet Benji too – he’s so cute. I know all the family and Benji are going to have a great day. Wag this Way really is a great event for all the family.”
