Emily & Rufus the collie have signed-up to take part in Wag this Way to help raise vital funds for City Hospice
City Hospice’s Wag this Way is back in the beautiful grounds of Bute Park on Sunday 20th March. The first event took place in 2019 and was a great success. Unfortunately, lockdown hit just before the 2020 event and so has had to be postponed ever since. That’s why we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Wag this Way this year!
Emily Wynn explains:
“I am a nurse at Cardiff Haemophilia Centre in UHW. Myself, and a few others in the team, have signed up for City Hospice’s Wag This Way. As healthcare professionals we know the huge importance and impact that hospices can have on patients and their families at often the worst times. The care and support they give to so many is incredible, and we are happy to do anything we can to support that.

Rufus can’t wait to meet new furiends!
We signed up to Wag This Way as it sounds like a really fun way to raise money, and any excuse to get the dog involved! Rufus loves being out and about, as well as meeting new people and dogs, so this is something we can do all together. He is very much looking forward to his goody bag and probably being spoilt at the stalls!
I would encourage anyone with a dog to sign up. This is something fun that the whole family can get involved with, have a fun day out, and raise money for an amazing charity in the process.”
