Beacon Business Network takes on Inca Trail to Machu Picchu for City Hospice
Members of the Beacons Business Network recently visited City Hospice to see firsthand the exceptional care and support provided by the hospice team. During their visit, they also discussed their upcoming “trek of a lifetime” along the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, scheduled for October 2025.
The Beacons Business Network is a business networking group that meets monthly to walk beautiful routes through the national park. To learn more about the Beacon Business Network and its activities, visit its Eventbrite page here
The adventure will see Alun Leach, Leon Gorman, Mike Williams, Steve Griffiths, Sharon Bromage, Libby Jervis and other members of the trekking business networking group embark on a journey through the Andes mountains to the 15th century Incan Empire Citadel.
This trek is not just about personal achievement but in a bid to raise vital funds for City Hospice. The funds raised will support Cardiff’s local hospice in providing specialist palliative care to patients and support for their families.
Over the next 16 months, the group will be staging various events to generate donations and awareness for charity.
