Why should I leave a gift in my will?

City Hospice, formerly George Thomas Hospice Care, is reliant on charitable donations to continue our work.  Every year we must raise around £1million and this is set to rise to £2million by 2020, to meet the growing demand for our services.  Leaving a gift in your will ensures that you can help us continue to care for patients of the future, even after you've died.

We estimate that demand for our services will double by 2020, with the main increase in demand coming from patients who have conditions other than cancer, e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, COPD and heart disease.  There are many more people who can benefit from the holistic and specialist palliative care offered by City Hospice.  With your support, we will be able to care for them when they need us.
