Join City Hospice, Engage Sport and Genero Productions for this exciting sporting dinner!
Following on from the success of our Celebrity Question of Sport last year and, in celebration of the Rugby World Cup being held in Japan this year, we are holding a Wales v Rest of the World Question of Sport dinner. This will take place on Thursday 3rd October 2019 at the home of international rugby, the Principality Stadium, to raise money for Cardiff’s local hospice.
Wales will have just played Australia in the second group game and excitement should be high. In keeping with the Rugby World Cup, the menu will be Japanese themed with delicacies such as Teriyaki Braised Short Rib of Beef and Japanese Cotton Cake.
Team captains will be Cardiff Blues Flanker and WRU player, Ellis Jenkins and Kiwi Nick Williams, who plays number 8 also for the Cardiff Blues. They will lead teams of well-known sporting stars in a fun-filled quiz similar to the well-known TV programme.
The event will start at 7pm with a champagne reception and will be followed by dinner and then the quiz.
Individual tickets are available at £75 (+VAT).
We always really appreciate the support we get from local businesses at our events. It means we can raise more money to be there for those patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families when they need us most. By sponsoring an aspect of the event, you’ll be helping us to work towards raising the £2m a year we need to keep our services going.
We have sponsorship packages available such as:
- Wales Team Sponsor
- Rest of the World Sponsor
If you’d be interested in any of the above or want to know more, please contact our Corporate Relationships Manager, Nicky Piper, on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02920 524150.
We want to say a huge thank you to our Headline Sponsors, iStadiaSolutions, a digital systems company based in Caerphilly. They’re making it possible for us to hold this event and raise as much as we can for our patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
