Join us for a free information evening on Thursday 26th September where you will learn more about our exciting 2020 fundraising trek to the Great Wall of China. Join City Hospice and Different Travel on a journey of discovery and learn what it takes to trek through the remote and beautiful landscapes of Gubeikou, Jinshanling and Simatai. Come along and find out more about this awe-inspiring challenge.

About the Challenge

Get off the beaten track and spend five days trekking through remote and beautiful landscapes from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai. Learn about the local history and culture, as well as enjoying delicious Chinese cuisine. Taking place 16 – 24 October 2020.

Not only will you trek the wall itself, built and restored over thousands of years, but you will have the opportunity to trek through wild and remote landscapes with distant views of green rolling hills, mountain peaks and with one of the great wonders of the world as the backdrop.

Staying in guesthouses throughout the trek allows you to get an understanding of the authentic Chinese culture as you discover more about the lifestyle of the local people.
