City Hospice Light up a Life Christmas Remembrance Service takes place on Thursday 28th November
Join City Hospice this November at Llandaff Cathedral for our annual Christmas Remembrance Service. Whilst Christmas is a joyous time for most people, for those dealing with the loss of a loved one, it can also be an incredibly difficult time. This evening is an opportunity to bring the community together and remember our loved ones.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 7:00pm and the service will begin at 7:30pm for an evening of Christmas carols, reflective readings and performances. There will be an opportunity to hear your loved one’s names read out, if you wish, as we come together for this poignant service. The service will last around 1 hour.
Our Christmas Remembrance Service is FREE to attend for adults and children however you must register your place below. Please note spaces for this event are limited to book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you would like to contribute towards the event costs, we suggest a donation of £5 per adult, though this is entirely optional. This service is open to everyone, regardless of faith or belief.
Dedications for Light up a Life can be made all over the Christmas period as a meaningful way to remember someone special, to celebrate life or to give thanks. You can join hundreds of local people who leave a message and dedicate a virtual Star in the Sky to celebrate and remember the life of a friend, relative or colleague this Christmas.
We do hope you can join us and we look forward to seeing you.
Online registration has now closed – if you wish to attend the event, entry on the door will be available.
If you have any names you’d like to be read, please make sure a volunteer is made aware.
