Jellyfish Business Solutions, a leading IT services provider, swung into action this September as they held their first Charity Golf Day and raised an incredible £4,648.69 for City Hospice.
Held at Wenvoe Golf Club, the day saw over 100 golfers take part, and many auction prizes donated by local businesses and friends of the firm.
Director, Jack Walsh explains,
“Jellyfish Business Solutions supports many charitable organisations, however, for this event, we decided to focus our attention on City Hospice.
As local providers of palliative care in the community for people with life-limiting conditions, the work City Hospice do is truly awesome so we are only happy to support this worthwhile cause and look forward to doing as much as we can for them in the years to come”.
Business Manager, Rhys Clark added,
“Thank you to the 30 companies that put teams into the event and generously donated to the raffle and auction. Because of them, we were able to raise such a great amount to help support City Hospice care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital. In addition to providing care and services to patients with terminal or life limiting illnesses, the charity offers counselling and support for their patients’ families.
Corporate Partnerships Manager, Nicky Piper said,
A special thank you Jellyfish Business Solutions for hosting a wonderful day and for having me! We are so grateful for your ongoing support and for holding your first Charity Golf Day in aid of City Hospice. Thank you to everyone involved, you raised such a fantastic amount and made a huge difference to our work. We look forward to next year!”.
